The Vespa VBC model was made from 1965 – 1979 and has a rounded front headlight with larger flat edges. The rear tail light is squared larger than that of the VBB model. The rear fender is more squared than that on the VBB model. The odometer is rounded.
Vespa 150 VBC Super scooters have newer lines and older wheels - VBC Super is almost identical to VLB Sprints except with a rounded headlight and smaller 8-inch wheels.
Vespa Super 150 is a successor to the Vespa 125 and 150 VNA/VBB models.
The Vespa 'Super' continued to be built with the same engine as it was already known from the VBB2, but with a new external ignition coil. For over 14 years it was built almost unchanged, mainly in Indonesia for the Asian markets. Vespa Super body is basically a shrunken version of Vespa Sprint. The body became more angular, and the gentle curves of the VBB is replaced by sharper edges on the Super. The frame was as well used on the Vespa GL models too. The handlebar assembly with an 11,5 cm headlight will later also be used on the Vespa Nuova / Primavera. The luggage compartment in the left side cowl now is opened with a lock, not with a lever. The brake drums are upgraded with fins to better extract the heat.
