Derived from the Vespa 125 VMA1, the Vespa 125 Primavera ("Spring") met with immediate success. Easy to handle, trim, quick, powerful, are some of the adjectives that describe the Vespa Primavera in the 1960s. The young are the main characters of the spot "Con Vespa si può" ("With Vespa it’s possible") that addresses teens above 16 who love sport and nature, and do not like to get stuck in the traffic and be late for dates with friends.
The main feature is a longer frame, which permits an easier transportation of the passenger.
The Vespa 125 Primavera was released in 1968 to replace the Nuova 125 . Had an engine of 124 cc ignition points and was produced in three series: the first was the rear light type 90 SS , presented in italics vespa 125 on the front shield and spring over the rear light, the second the same light but hidden in letters (from 1973, the year of exchange written by Piaggio). In the period 74-76 the 125 was sold in the spring color BROWN METALLIC Cod MM 1.268.5130 (PIA 130) with beige saddle, third, output together with ET3 , but written the same light of the new design. He was successful on the market thanks to the outstanding performance and the line that appealed to everyone, even the girls. Was discontinued in 1982 , along with the ET3.
